Giorgio was our grandpa and the owner of this house, which he left to us along with his precious principles: hospitality, open mindedness and love for Naples, our city. We have always brought this great treasure with us, but we have discovered its true value when, divided between London and Australia, we have opened our lives to the world and to all the people we have met. Thanks to our experiences, once we came back to Italy we decided to create La Casa di Giorgio a place thought to give us the opportunity to meet new people, to know different cultures and at the same time that allows us to show everyone the beauty and the history of Naples.
La Casa di Giorgio has 3 rooms: a twin one (Comfort) and two double, one with a king size bed (Comfort and Deluxe); from the ninth floor, the rooms will offer to you a panoramic privileged view of the sea and the ancient center of the city, thanks to the wide windows and their balcony that will let you enjoy the sun light during the day. Every morning in the shared kitchen you could enjoy a sweet and savory hearty breakfast, in an intimate and familiar atmosphere with the other guests.
You will find us to welcome you upon your arrival and we will always be on call to ensure you a pleasant stay.
Naples is a city with a deep history and full of places that hold the oldest memories. La Casa di Giorgio is located in the ancient centre of the city, nearby most of the cultural and religious points of interest; the exact position of the house is Piazza Mercato, which was in the past a stage for some important historic events such as the people revolt against the Spanish rulers led by Masaniello that was executed in this square and then buried in the nearby Basilica del Carmine, where was erected a statue in his honor. However, the Basilica is most known for the cult of the Virgin of the Carmen and its traditional celebrations that every July take place to remember the appearance of the Virgin Mary to Saint Simon Stock and the fire of the friar Nuvolo bell tower, reproduced with an evocative pyrotechnic show.
Well, you’ll just have to discover this city and all the beauties it reserves for those who are ready to let themselves be enchanted.
